Our July hike was postponed because of extreme heat. Saturday August 20 a hearty group struck out to see some beautiful areas Nate has worked that many of us had not seen. We managed to dodge the rain most of the time and the overcast weather made for a nice day for a hike. We visited remnant praries and a fenn. Jim even carried a ladder so we could get over the stream in the fenn. It was lumpy but well worth the difficult terrain to get to see such wonderful areas.
